Emotion Diary: change your habits, reactions, and attitudes
Career

Questions like “Are you happy?”, “Do you have emotional intelligence?” often go unanswered.
If we changed that context to “What does being happy mean to you?”, “What does having emotional intelligence mean to you?”, we would have clearer answers, and from there, the journey toward our goals would begin with greater assertiveness.
The Emotion Diary is a tool that provides us with the clarity needed for these answers: we are presented with a mandala full of feelings and sensations combined in a logical way, allowing us to identify in detail the various emotions we feel throughout a day, over a specific period of time.
While mapping the causes of these sensations, we build a powerful emotional diary that can lead us to extraordinary changes in habits, reactions, and attitudes.
Balance requires an inner “makeover.” But without identifying where and what needs to be changed, how can we start this makeover within ourselves? And furthermore: how can we contribute efficiently to someone else's makeover?
Applying the Emotion Diary with the coachee has been one of my greatest challenges. The learning grows with each session. In my hands, I hold two weeks of emotions and reasons, great dedication, a desire to find answers, and a wonderful willingness to change habits and beliefs.
During the sessions, the listening, directing, questioning, compassion, and empathy are all aimed at “lifting the veil” so that the coachee can truly see and realize just how capable they are; that identifying the “thief” of good energy and positive feelings can be simple.
It is a journey we will take at the necessary pace, aware that the right direction to follow is certainly more fundamental than speed. The most important thing is that that inner “makeover” has already begun. The Emotion Diary truly possesses the power of clarity.
What about you? Don't you want to discover who the “thief” of your good energy and feelings is?
